About the event
Junior Farmers: Real-World Homesteading Skills for Ages 9-12
Move beyond the basics and get into the heart of the farm! Our Junior Farmers program at Wild Blooms is designed for the pre-teen who wants to do more than just watch. We’re inviting local juniors to step up, get their hands dirty, and take on the real-world responsibilities of a working homestead.
Why Your Junior Farmer Should Join Us
At this age, kids are ready for a deeper challenge. Our program shifts from observation to action, providing educational kids' farm programs that emphasize responsibility, biology, and hard work.
Master Daily Farm Chores: This isn't just "visiting" animals—it's learning how to care for them. Junior Farmers learn the why and how behind feeding, habitat maintenance, and animal health.
STEM-Based Agricultural Learning: We dive into the specific roles that plants and animals play in a sustainable ecosystem. It’s a living classroom that covers everything from soil health to animal behavior.
